Before joining Norican, you’ve worked across foundry, metallurgy and, most recently, aluminum. Tell us what excites you about the industry.
« I have been in the foundry space for more than 15 years, first in ferrous metals, then in non-ferrous metals since 2015. It is an essential field for industry and it’s just magical to see all types of parts being born, from the smallest to the largest! »
You’ve been looking after alu opportunities across all Norican brands from an aftermarket perspective. How is your new role built on that?
« My new role in the OEM sales team in Wiehl is the logical continuation of my first experience at Norican: I am continuing the adventure with StrikoWestofen by taking on new, expanded responsibilities and areas
as France, Turquie, Roumania/Bulgaria, North Africa. »
Tell us a bit more about your background? Have you always been interested in shaping industry?
« Graduated in Business, I have always worked in technical fields. First in electronics and since 2009, in the metallurgical sectors. »
What do you enjoy most about working at Norican?
« Working for and with such strong, globally recognized brands; applying our know-how and our technologies to really help our customers – and in turn, their appreciation of our knowledge. »
What are your strengths?
« I’m open, highly motivated and a team player.
What do you enjoy doing outside work?
« I love the mountains. I’m lucky enough to live there! 😉
I like skiing, mountain biking, hiking. »
